According to Google it is 3 hours 5 minutes driving time from Barnton.

The programme of walks:

Friday 10^th:  Starting at 11.30 am from the hotel a walk to St Bees Head.  About 6 miles.

Saturday 11^th:  Starting from Wasdale car park towards Sty Head.  The route splits after 2 or 3 miles into a more strenuous option over the pass between Green Gable and Great Gable then over Black Sail Pass, and a less strenuous option heading towards, but not up, Scafell.

Sunday 12^th:  There are several options in Ennerdale.

Monday 13^th:  Low level walk from Broughton in Furness.  About 6 miles.

The Saturday and Sunday could be interchanged to fit in with weather conditions.
